Autonomous Robots Arena

Our lab has facilitiated the "Autonomous Robots Arena"at the University of Nevada, Reno. This project is the result of a collaborative effort among UNR faculty and the office of VPRI. The Autonomous Robots Arena aims to become a unique research infrastructure that enables the comprehensive testing of advanced robotic systems. It currently integrates a Motion Capture system built around the VICON Vantage V8 cameras (providing sub-mm and sub-degree accuracy of tracking the markers defining object geometries).

Robot Development Space

Our lab invites students accross the university to utilize our robot development infrastructure for their own projects. To that end, we offer an "open robot development space" for specific times slots of the week. Furthermore, training activities are provided on an ad-hoc basis.

Robotic Systems

Our lab has developed and is using a variety of robotic systems including aerial, ground and marine. These include small drones to autonomous cars and buses. Please check our research pages to learn more about the relevant developments.
