Robot Development Space

The Autonomous Robots Lab has facilitated a well-equipped robot development infrastructure that provides a set of tools such as:

• Electronic design and test instrumentation (including PCB manufacturing ability, power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators etc)
• Mechanical workshop abilities (drills, DREMELs etc - primarily for small scale systems)
• Extended set of hand tools (from clippers, to screwdrivers, polishing tools etc)
• Selected embedded electronic systems (DSPs, FPGAs, Rasberry PI etc)
• Electrical components for common uses (SMD passive components, DC/DC converters etc)

This infrastructure is maintained at 3 specialized benches and our lock-room at ARF004. We provide the opportunity to university students (and members of the broader local community) to use these tools for their own project. The following calendar presents the days and timeslots that this is openly available. In addition, we provide training activities on an ad-hoc basis.
