The ICRA 2017 paper results were just announced. Our lab had submitted one paper and it just got accepted. Details:
  • Christos Papachristos, Shehryar Khattak, Kostas Alexis, "Uncertainty-aware Receding Horizon Exploration and Mapping using Aerial Robots", IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), May 29-June 3, 2017, Singapore
In addition, Dr. Alexis has one more paper accepted in collaboration with ASL of ETH Zurich:
  • Sebastian Verling, Thomas Stastny, Gregory Bättig, Kostas Alexis, Roland Siegwart, "Model-based Transition Optimization for a VTOL Tailsitter", IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), May 29-June 3, 2017, Singapore
Finally, as a lab we are co-organizing a full-day ICRA 2017 workshop entitled "Autonomous Structural Monitoring and Maintenance using Aerial Robots" - check all ICRA 2017 workshops here.

Below, watch our video on the topic of Uncertainty-aware Receding Horizon Exploration and Mapping. A relevant open source code release will take place before the ICRA 2017 final paper submission deadline. The code will be available at this link:
